Miss Wales Girls Eat All The Pies
The 40 girls competing for the title this weekend (6-7 July) are all gearing up for one of the biggest weekends of their lives.
The two-day marathon will take place in Cardiff and will involve the Miss Wales ball and the grand final.
A panel of judges – including former Big Brother contestant Glyn Wise – will decide who takes the crown.
All 40 girls will be given a Peter’s pie to nibble in the run up to the final and the winner will receive a year’s supply. The other 39 will also get a shopping basket full of pies for the family.
David Jackson, Technical and Retail Sales Director of Peter’s Food Service, said: “We make great, British food which will keep the girls going during the two day competition”.
Clare Birt, one of the organisers of the Miss Wales competition, said: “We don’t do size zero at Miss Wales. We want the girls to have a balanced diet and a nice womanly figure so we’re more than happy to see them tuck into the pies!”
