Peter’s ensure Swans fans are well fed for cup final

As Swansea City prepare for its League Cup final clash against Bradford on Sunday, club supplier, Peter’s, has prepared a tasty treat for all Swans fans to ensure that they are better fed than their Bradford opponents on the big day.

Everyone at Swansea City will be hoping their fans are in fine voice for their trip to Wembley, where 80,000 football fans will watch their team vie for the Capital One Cup title.

To help them prepare, award-winning pie-maker, Peter’s, are ensuring that when the Swansea faithful head to London, they will be in fine spirits. A range of Premier products will be made available to fans from 7am on Sunday as they board their coaches at the Landore Park and Ride to begin their epic journey to Wembley.

John McAughtrie, Foodservice Director for Peter’s and a big Swansea City fan, explains: “The heart of a football club is its fans. They’re the ones that turn up through thick and thin, in bad times and good, and this weekend is all about them. We want everyone to have a great day out, starting with a nice tasty pastry treat to set them up perfectly for the journey!”

As well as munching on a selection of Peter’s favourites, from Sausage Rolls to Cheese and Spring Onion pasties, en-route, the fans will also have the chance to tuck into their favourite match day pies on arrival at pubs near to Wembley Way.

John McAughtrie said: “We know our fans will be the best-fed at the ground, and we’re hoping that we come away as the best team on the pitch too.”
Peter’s Food Service Ltd began life as a small pie manufacturer in South Wales. Today it’s one of Britain’s best-loved brands of pies, pasties, sausage rolls and slices.

With 10 distribution depots throughout the UK, Peter’s also supplies 38 major sports stadia, as well as fast food outlets, fish bars, restaurants, cafes, independent retailers, schools, hospitals and hotels with a range of over 900 separate product lines.
