Peter’s fundraising figures are pie high

Wales’ favourite pie-maker is supporting the Children’s Hospital for Wales in opening its Critical Care Unit with a donation of over £33,000.

Peter’s Pies worked with Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity to raise the fantastic grand total of £33,685.42 through its Noah’s Ark range of pies.
The Noah’s Ark range features all the most popular fillings, with the packaging proudly featuring the Noah’s Ark logo.

Donations have been collected from the sale of each pie into its foodservice division over the past twelve months. The pie sales included popular flavours such as steak and kidney, minced beef and onion, chicken and mushroom, meat and potato and chicken balti pies.

The thousands raised will help purchase essential equipment for the brand new Critical Care Unit, the new hospital build cost is an estimated £1.2m so the donation from Peter’s has been truly welcomed.

The Critical Care Unit is fully equipped by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity, to treat the most vulnerable children in need of intensive or high-dependency care.
Peter’s Pies are passionate supporters of the Children’s Hospital for Wales and have been fundraising for the Noah’s Ark Appeal since 2011.

Marketing Director, Clare Morgan said: “We have worked closely with everyone at the Noah’s Ark Appeal to find the best possible way to build awareness of the charity and to generate funds.”

Max Boyce MBE and Vice President of Noah’s Ark said: “It’s wonderful that Peter’s are supporting Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity by donating a very tasty £33,685 towards the new critical care unit in Phase Two. It makes me very pleased to see a major Welsh company supporting such a worthy local cause.”

Peter’s Food Service began life as a small pie manufacturer, and today is one of Britain’s best-loved brands, producing over 3 million pies, pasties, rolls and slices every week.
