Peter’s hits the screen in first TV campaign

Wales favourite pie maker Peter’s is launching its first ever TV campaign.

Going live on SKY channels and ITV Player in South Wales this week, Peter’s new advert is all about the hunger for pie, because when you fancy a good pie…. Nothing else will do.

Viewers can expect to see iconic Welsh images in the advert, from the nation’s flag, through to the Severn Bridge, and Pete the Pie himself!

Peter’s Marketing Director Clare Morgan said: “We are really excited for Peter’s to hit the screen.

“As pies are the heartbeat of Peter’s, it was only natural to make a pie the hero of the ad.

“We are incredibly proud to be a Welsh company and we wanted our first TV advert for the region to reflect that pride.”

Celebrating the Peter’s Food Service team, the staff that deliver pastries and so much more to food outlets across the country every day, the advert also stars another member of Peter’s staff; Sales Director for Wales, Ken Blackman.

Ken Blackman said: “It felt great to represent the Food Service team at Peter’s and filming the advert was a fun experience that I won’t forget.”

Peter’s has seen great success with their marketing initiatives over recent years, and won the Wales Canmol Marketing Award in the Food, Drink and Retail Category two years in a row.

Clare Morgan added: “As a brand, Peter’s continues to go from strength to strength. Our integrated marketing campaigns have played a fundamental part in a 10% growth in turnover year on year, and we’re excited to see the results of this Autumn’s activity.”

Peter’s TV promotion will be supported by outdoor advertising and activity on Peter’s digital and social media channels.
